Say no to doorstep callers

Doorstep callers are ‘salespeople’ or ‘traders' who show up unannounced and try to pressure you into getting work done on your house, like cleaning your gutters or cutting back trees. They'll often claim they're just in the neighbourhood and can offer you a good deal if you ‘buy now’. Not only could they be trying to sell you a poor product or service at a highly inflated price, they may also be scoping out you and your property.
