Our extra care scheme at Hale End Court also provides day care for frail or vulnerable residents, helping them to overcome loneliness and reconnect with the wider community.
Facilities and services
The day care service includes:
- care and assistance provided by support staff at the centre
- access to hot drinks and snacks available in the café
- the opportunity to take part in social activities and gentle exercise
- a hot, two-course meal and drink served around 12pm
- access to disabled toilets and other adapted facilities.
For day care guests which require assisted door-to-door transport service, suitable for people with mobility issues, the scheme's staff will refer them to Bustler. They can arrange a return journey to and from the centre.
Costs
The cost for day care is £20 which includes a two-course lunch. Guests may wish to bring additional funds to buy refreshments or any items on sale.
This cost is reviewed annually and does not include any transport.
Opening times
Day care is provided between the hours of 10am and 3pm, Monday to Friday.
