Both the Met Office and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have extended the red alerts for Surrey and the south east until 11pm on Friday 26 June.

Grant Thornton Public Interest Report
We have published a public interest report into our past governance arrangements, investment decisions and financial strategy.
The independent report, carried out by external auditor Grant Thornton UK LLP, looks at the past decisions and actions taken by us which have contributed to our current financial situation.
Extraordinary council meeting to discuss the Grant Thornton report
An Extraordinary Council Meeting was held on Wednesday 20 November 2024.
Woking Borough Councillors had the opportunity to discuss the findings and recommendations of the report and agree the next steps.
