Sheerwater Project Board

The Sheerwater Regeneration Project Board was established by Council at its meeting on 6 April 2017. The board is responsible for the governance of the implementation of the Sheerwater Regeneration Scheme.

It is made up of seven elected members of the Council representing all political groups. Members of the board are supported by council officers and key stakeholders.

Sheerwater Regeneration Oversight Panel

The remit of the Oversight Panel is to oversee the wider improvements within Sheerwater and receive reports from the Project Board. It will ensure that the social, environmental and economic issues of residents and businesses in Sheerwater, both within and outside the identified regeneration area.

The Panel will act as an advisory and oversight panel for the Council. It will have no decision-making powers. Any disputed issues or differences of opinion shall be referred to the Executive for determination.
