Register for council housing

You can apply to join the housing register if you:

• are aged 16 years and above
• have an identified housing need
• have lived or worked full-time in the borough continuously for the last 2 years

Members of the armed forces do not need to have a connection to the borough.

Who cannot apply

You will not be accepted if you:

• own property
• are subject to immigration control
• do not live full-time in the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey
• have been found guilty of serious anti-social behaviour and a possession order has been granted (or one is being requested)
• have assaulted a staff member of Woking Borough Council and an injunction has been granted (or one is being requested)
• have knowingly given false or misleading information, including withholding information
