Media library
The media library contains three content types:
- images
- documents
- remote videos
Finding a media item
You can:
- use the 'media name' field to search for something.
- filter by media type
- select a directory to only see files for that area
Images
Select 'add media' then 'image' to add a new file:
- the size limit is 10MB
- allowed file types are png, gif, jpg and jpeg
Select a media directory folder to place the image in.
Documents
Select 'add media' then 'document' to add a new file:
The size limit is 64MB.
The allowed file types are:
- txt
- rtf
- doc
- docx
- ppt
- pptx
- xls
- xlsx
- odf
- odg
- odp
- ods
- odt
- fodt
- fods
- fodp
- fodg
- key numbers pages
- csv
Select a media directory folder to place the document in.

Media directories
Place the file or image into a directory. If no relevant directory folder exists, go to:
- structure>taxonomy>media directories
- select 'add term'
Once you have saved the term, the folder should be visible to select when adding your file.
Remote videos
You can link to media from the following services: YouTube and Vimeo.
To add a remote video:
- go to YouTube or Vimeo and get the share code of the video
- paste it into the URL field
- select a media directory folder to place the remote video in
- go to the page you want to place the video
- browse to the media library and select the video
- it will then be embedded into the page
