External page signpost

An external page is a brief piece of content that is created when you want to link to an external URL (not woking.gov.uk) from a:

  • service landing page
  • service sub-landing page

When creating a new external page, add the:

  • title as the link text
  • description as the summary text
  • URL in full to the external URL field

Once you have saved the external page:

  • go to the landing page you want to add it
  • type the name of the external page
  • it will appear in the lookup
  • save the page
