Town gears up for the Seymours Woking Car Show
The Seymours Woking Car Show is just around the corner, returning to Woking town centre on Sunday 21 September, for what promises to be the borough’s biggest showcase of classic, custom, and American cars.

From 11am to 4pm, visitors can enjoy a display of over 100 locally owned cars and bikes lining the town centre, alongside a range of family-friendly activities, including:
- Cars from the movies: Meet Bumblebee and Batman with their iconic vehicles.
- McLaren Automotive: Discover what goes on under the hood of their cutting-edge supercars.
- Sporting Bears Motor Club: Offering Dream Rides to raise funds for Home-Start Runnymede & Woking.
- Brooklands Museum: Showcasing heritage vehicles and membership packages.
- Children’s rides: Including indoor bumper cars and a car-themed carousel.
- Live music: Performances from local buskers throughout the day.
The show, which made a welcome return in 2023, is organised by local car enthusiast Terry Fox, a Horsell resident and proud owner of a 1950 Chevrolet pick-up.
Talking about this year’s event, Terry said:
We’ve pulled out all the stops to take the car show to the next level. From vintage classics and custom builds, to incredible supercars and vehicles from the movies, the car show is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
It’s a great chance to bring the car community together, right in the heart of Woking. There will be such a diverse mix of vehicles on display so there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Whether you’re a petrol head or just along for the ride, we’re looking forward to welcoming you for a fun-fuelled day.
The event is supported by Woking Borough Council, and funded through sponsorship from Seymours Woking, McLaren Automotive, DoubleTree by Hilton Woking, and Crane Garden Buildings.
Cllr Ann-Marie Barker, Leader of Woking Borough Council, added:
The council is delighted to support Terry once again in delivering a safe and exciting event for everyone to enjoy. I’d like to thank all the local businesses and sponsors whose support helps make the day possible.
The car show brings residents and visitors into the heart of the town centre, supporting our local economy and fuelling a passion for classic cars. There is something for everyone and there is always a fantastic atmosphere. Do come along and take part.
