The table is set and the banquet almost ready for another delicious free-to-attend Woking Food and Drink Festival in Woking Town Centre from Friday 31 August to Sunday 2 September 2018!

If you're hankering for a large helping of celebrity and local chef demonstrations with a side of expert talks and fantastic food stalls, all served with a sprinkling of top class entertainment, there is something for everyone of all ages and tastes.

Crowned the county's Best Local Food Event 2015, 2016 and 2017 and, recently announced finalist for the prestigious Surrey Life Food and Drink Hero Award 2018, it's time to start checking the programme and booking special ticketed events before they sell out.

Bite-size talks

Providing the perfect starter are the revealing 15-minute Bite-size talks hosted by a smorgasbord of expert food producers and growers which will give visitors the chance to snack on irresistible nuggets of knowledge to take away and impress their friends with.

Live demonstration theatre

For a delicious main course there's the Tante Marie Culinary Academy Theatre. Celebrity chefs Ching He Huang; Kenny Tutt, MasterChef 2018 winner; The Gangotra Sisters; Dr Saliha Mahmood Ahmed along with senior instructors from Tante Marie Culinary Academy, will be joined by a sumptuous array of talent from some of Surrey's finest food establishments.

Adult and kids masterclasses

And for dessert why not discover the festival's sumptuous masterclasses? Packed full of flavour, they're sure to deliver a winning combination.

Wine and spirit connoisseurs can prepare to be shaken and stirred during a series of Cocktail and Wine Masterclass from Bacaro and Cellar Magneval.

Children and adults who are ready for some hands-on kitchen action can roll up their sleeves and learn the tricks of the trade from the experts thanks to sponsors Magimix and Tante Marie Culinary Academy. Families can also get ready for out of this world family fun with The Gastronaut starring BBC's Stefan Gates. These energetic, funny, amazing and explosive shows, combine food science with cookery are hosted at the Rhoda McGaw theatre at 11am and 1pm, Saturday 1 September.

And something a little different

Plenty of appealing side dishes will be on offer including book signings by Ella Mills and Ching He Huang and live music from local bands. A new interactive trader map lists every trader and pinpoints their exact location to allow festival-goers a chance to plan their day down to the very the last mouthful.

Diners looking for a refined evening out can reserve their space at the Pol Roger Champagne Dinner hosted by Pol Roger and Seasons Café and Kitchen and held at The Lightbox. The table is set for an exclusive evening of fine dining and tasting of some of the world's finest Champagnes.
