Get your photo ID sorted for May 2019 elections

Woking residents with questions about the Woking Voter ID trial will be able to meet officers, ask questions, register to vote (until 12 April 2019) and apply for their local elector card during a series of road shows taking place during March and April 2019.

Elections Officers will be available between 11am and 3pm at the following locations:

  • Friday 29 March, Waitrose, Goldsworth Park
  • Friday 5 April, Asda, Sheerwater
  • Saturday 6 April, Market Walk, Woking town centre
  • Saturday 13 April, Woking Park, next to the kiosk

During the local election on Thursday 2 May 2018, voters across the Borough are required to bring approved photographic identification to their polling station before they are allowed to vote.

Voters who don’t have any accepted photographic identification can apply free of charge for a local elector card if they wish to vote in person at the polling station. Postal voting will not be affected.
