The Future of Woking Town Centre

Date:

Thursday, 1 November, 2018

Cllr David Bittleston, Leader of Woking Borough Council and Ray Morgan, Chief Executive, will present and answer questions on the Councils plans for the future of Woking Town Centre at a free to attend event on Friday 9 November 2018 from 7pm at the H.G. Wells Conference and Events Centre, Woking.

Following public interest in the development works taking place across the town, it was decided to provide residents across Woking the opportunity to hear from the Council about its intentions for the town from now until 2027 and the thinking behind the decisions being made.

Entry to the event will be on a first come first served basis. Doors will open at 6.30pm when there will be time to submit questions, as many as possible of which will be answered at the end of the presentation.

The event will be screened live on the Woking Borough Council website. Visit www.woking.gov.uk and follow the instructions on the homepage to view the public event.

Questions from audiences at home will be accepted via the email address marketing.communications@woking.gov.uk with 'Future of Woking' in the subject bar, and via Twitter with the hashtag #FutureofWoking.

Advanced questions must submitted by 6pm on Friday 9 November to be accepted.

Although Woking Borough Council cannot guarantee that there will be time to answer every question, every effort will be taken to ensure that as many topics as possible are covered in the Question and Answer session.
