The law gives you the right to ask for information held by us. This is called freedom of information or FOI.

Before making a request, we recommend that you check:

• if the information you're looking for is already published in our publication scheme
• what makes a valid request – Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
• if the request relates to our responsibilities (borough council)
