Terms and conditions for permits and season tickets – Woking town centre car parks

How you can and cannot use season cards, resident permits and business permits in Brewery Road, Heathside Crescent and Victoria Place car parks.

Extra terms and conditions (T&Cs) for business permits

These apply in addition to our general terms and conditions.

We issue business permits by prior arrangement only.

Where you can park

Your permits will be allocated to one car park. This could be:

You cannot use a business permit in the Victoria Place Green zone.

Permit access

Only one vehicle registration is allowed per permit.

Permits provide 24 hours, 7 days a week access to the car parks, unless your business has agreed restricted hours.

Permit costs

Permit costs are based on the season ticket CO₂ emissions ratings.

Discounts may be available for businesses buying multiple permits.

Managing business permits

If your business holds multiple permits, you must: 

  • maintain accurate records of all permit holders
  • tell us who is using the permits and vehicle details

Parking validation

You must arrange validation in advance.

You will be given an online account and login details for the validation portal.

To validate parking:

  • the vehicle must be in the car park before details are entered
  • you must validate each visit
  • once validated, parking is authorised for up to the agreed limit

Using courtesy vehicles

Your permits are non transferable. We can arrange temporary access for courtesy vehicles for up to 30 days.

You must email us with evidence of repair or servicing, and the estimated completion date.

Changes to permits, including cancellations

You are required to email us if you need to reassign a permit to a new driver or vehicle, or cancel a permit.

If a vehicle changes:

  • you may pay an extra cost if the new vehicle is in a higher CO₂ band
  • you may receive a refund if the new vehicle is in a lower CO₂ band
  • a £25 administration fee applies to vehicle changes

For permit changes, it may take up to 5 works days to process changes. During this time, you must pay the standard parking charge using the on-site payment machines.
