Ending your temporary accommodation tenancy
Use our online form to tell us if you are moving out of your temporary accommodation.
You cannot use this form for ending your council home tenancy.

Make sure you consider your actions before ending your tenancy. Speak to us or your housing officer for more advice or get legal advice if it is needed.
Give notice to leave your temporary accommodation
You need to give us at least 1 week's notice before you leave. This is your notice period.
Return your keys
You must return all keys and door entry fobs by midday on the Monday your tenancy ends.
This includes keys for your post box, shed and any outbuildings.
We may charge you an additional week's rent if you return your keys late.
Put all keys in a clearly labelled envelope marked for the attention of Woking Borough Council. Include the property address on the envelope.
