It sets out:
- who can apply for housing
- how we assess and prioritise applicants for housing
- how we allocate homes
- our policy on applicant choice and preference.

About the consultation
We have recently drafted an updated version of our Housing Allocation Policy which incorporates the latest good practice and government guidance.
Before the revisions are approved, we are consulting with residents subscribed to the local housing register and associated stakeholders to seek their views and opinions.
