Service update: Existing and future community display board bookings have been cancelled until further notice. These boards will be used to display public information relating to Coronavirus from Woking Borough Council, Surrey County Council and relevant partners.
This change in response to the Government's Coronavirus (COVID-19) social distancing and essential services only requirements. In line with national policy, we have adjusted our normal working practices and service delivery until further notice. The majority of our services remain operational and we are prioritising vulnerable residents.

For non-profit making groups or societies wishing to advertise an event which is taking place within the Borough of Woking, We manage a rota for 14 borough display boards and four drive-by boards within Woking borough. There are available free of charge to not-for-profit groups or societies wishing to advertiser an event taking place in Woking Borough.
Depending on availability, posters can be displayed for a maximum of three weeks, including the week of the event and two weeks prior to the event.
It is advisable to book board space in advance, as demand is high.
Borough Display Boards
The 13 borough display boards, site locations listed below, each have the capacity to hold four A2 sized posters. Posters must be A2 size, professionally produced and all 13 boards must be hired at any one time. In addition, six of these 13 boards are double sided so the second side of these boards can also be hired in the same way.

- Knaphill - The Broadway
- Kingfield - Kingfield School (opposite Sainsburys), Kingfield Road
- Pyrford Village Hall - Coldharbour Road
- Sheerwater - Dartmouth Avenue
- Woking - Victoria Way
- Horsell - Queen Elizabeth Gardens
Locations of double sided boards are as follows:
- Brookwood - Sainsburys Car Park, Redding Way
- Brookwood - Connaught Road
- St Johns Lye - St Johns
- Byfleet Village Green
- West Byfleet - Station Road
- Woking Park
Drive-by posters must be 1.2 metres (wide) by 1.7 metres (high) in size. Each of the four drive-by boards are double sided, holding one poster on each side. Posters can therefore be displayed either inbound or outbound. Site locations are listed below:

There are numerous community noticeboards in the borough, on which members of the public are free to pin flyers advertising local events. Flyers should be approximately A5 size, as space on the boards is limited, and should ideally be laminated or protected in a plastic wallet to protect from bad weather. There is no booking system for these boards. Location details are listed below:
