Community grants scheme

Grants are available for local non-profit making community and voluntary organisations that provide services to the local community and contribute to the aims of Woking's Community Strategy.

2010/11 grant scheme

 

In view of the financial pressures faced by the Council, requests for new initiatives, one-off contributions or capital projects are unlikely to be supported unless exceptional circumstances exist. Furthermore, Organisations are advised that additional pressures exist on the budget for running costs and revenue applications which may have an impact on the level of support awarded.

Elderly people's lunch club scheme

Grants are available once a year for elderly people's lunch clubs who are established mainly for the purpose of providing meals and/or recreation for elderly people.
