Exciting commercial leisure opportunities at Waterer’s Park
Businesses looking to expand their leisure offer in Woking are invited to express interest in the Waterer’s Park Pavilion in Knaphill - a vibrant, well‑used green space that’s ready for new ideas and activity.
Set within Waterer’s Park, the pavilion comes with around 4,500 sqm of flexible outdoor space, offering an exceptional opportunity for commercial operators to bring fresh, engaging activities that support healthy and active lifestyles in the community.
The council is open to a wide range of leisure-based proposals. Options could include padel courts, fitness studios, outdoor training facilities or other innovative leisure uses that complement the park’s existing football and cricket pitches and enhance opportunities for local residents.
This opportunity is separate from the council’s Community Asset Transfer (CAT) scheme, allowing commercial organisations to explore leisure-led uses with greater flexibility.
Cllr Ellen Nicholson, Woking Borough Council’s Portfolio Holder for Leisure, said:
This is a fantastic opportunity for innovative leisure providers to join a thriving community space in Knaphill and introduce activities that encourage residents to get active.
We’re excited to see proposals that make the most of this prime location and add to the park’s growing sport and wellbeing offer.
The pavilion includes changing facilities that will continue to be shared with local clubs and pitch users. The layout provides sufficient capacity to accommodate multiuse access.
Interested organisations are encouraged to express an interest by email to Kyle Gellatly, Project Manager, by 23 February 2026.
