Have your say

We have launched our 2025 to 2026 Tenant Satisfaction Survey, inviting eligible households to share their views.

We are required by the Regulator for Social Housing to measure and publish tenant satisfaction on an annual basis to benchmark our performance and identify areas for improvement.

Louise Strongitharm, the council’s Strategic Director for Communities, said:

The survey questions relate to the housing services the council provides as a landlord and cover themes such as keeping homes in good repair, building safety, responding to complaints, keeping tenants informed and looking after their neighbourhoods.

The feedback received helps us to make decisions about our services so it’s important all tenants respond.

We are only able to accept one survey per household, and tenants have until midnight on Sunday 11 January 2026 to have their say.”

Last year’s survey results showed a marked improvement in tenants’ perception of the service. The survey takes just 10 minutes to complete, and tenants could be in with a chance of winning a £100 voucher or one of five £50 vouchers for sharing their views.

Tenant volunteer and Vice Chair of the Resident & Landlord Partnership (RLP) Panel, Dee, said:

We’ve simplified the survey, and I would encourage all tenants to fill it in as this is how you make your voice heard by the council.

Eligible households will receive a letter inviting them to take part online. Alternatively, they can call 0300 373 0373 (option 4) to request a printed copy or complete the survey over the phone with a member of the housing team.
