Ukrainian refugees

The Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE) scheme allows you to apply to extend your stay in the UK for a further 18 months.

You must be both:

• a Ukrainian national (or the family member of a Ukrainian national)
• living in the UK with existing permission on one of the Ukraine schemes

You must have been already granted permission under one of the following:

• Homes for Ukraine Scheme
• Ukraine Family Scheme
• Ukraine Extension Scheme

When you make the application, you must:

• be in the UK (and Islands, which includes Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man)
• have been living in the UK since you were granted, or arrived in the UK, with permission under the Ukraine Schemes

You may also be eligible to apply to the UPE Scheme if you have been granted permission to stay in certain circumstances.
