If you live in Woking town centre, you can apply for a 24-hour discounted residential parking permit or an off-peak permit.

Apply for a 24-hour car park permit

We issue only one 24-hour residents’ permit for each address.

You can apply for a permit only if you live within the Woking town centre boundary.

Where you can park

This permit type allows you unrestricted car parking in:

  • Heathside Crescent car park
  • Victoria Place car parks – blue, red or yellow zones

Permit costs

The permit options and costs are: 

  • £121 per month
  • £348 per quarter (3 months)
  • £1,210 per year

What you will need to apply

Before applying, you will need:

  • your vehicle registration document (V5C) – showing your name and address (which must be a registered town centre address)
  • proof of address
  • a credit or debit card

Proof of address

We will need to see your name, address and dated within the last 3 months. We will accept a:

  • utility bill
  • bank statement
  • letter from your pension provider or the NHS

If you have recently moved

If you have just moved, we can accept a letter from your solicitor or landlord.

If you have a company vehicle

If you drive a company vehicle, we will accept a letter from your manager (on headed paper) confirming your exclusive use of the vehicle.

How to apply for a permit

To apply, you will need to use our ZatPermit online portal. You will need to sign in or create a new account.

You must pay the daily car parking charges until your permit has been approved. This can take up to 5 working days.

Changes to your permit

If you change your vehicle, you can tell us in your ZatPermit account:

  • on the 'Vehicle' page, you will see the vehicles linked to your account – here you can add a new vehicle and upload your new V5C document or proof of purchase
  • once you have added a new vehicle to your account, find the 'Bookings' page where you can view and update your current permit

If you are using a courtesy vehicle, contact us with proof of your repair or service and estimated date when the work will be completed:

Cancelling your permit

You can cancel your permit in your ZatPermit account:

  • find the 'Bookings' page
  • chose the permit you would like to cancel

Any refunds due will be calculated based on full unused months. A £25 cancellation fee will be taken from your total refund amount.
