Both the Met Office and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have extended the red alerts for Surrey and the south east until 11pm on Friday 26 June.

Final and arrangement default notices for unpaid Council Tax
If you have received a final notice
We will send you a final notice if you have:
- missed 2 payment instalments within the same Council Tax billing year
- an unpaid debt for a previous billing year
At this stage, you have lost the right to pay by monthly instalments and you must pay the full amount within 7 days.
If you have received an arrangement default notice
This is sent if you have a repayment arrangement with us and you have missed 2 payment instalments.
You must pay the full amount immediately or your account will be moved to the next recovery stage.
Ways you can pay
You can:
- pay the full amount
- pay an amount to reduce your debt
- apply for a repayment arrangement
If you do not pay the full amount, this will not stop our recovery process and we may send you a court summons.
