Use of your personal data
In order to receive your report of an abandoned or untaxed vehicle, we (Woking Borough Council) need to collect your personal data, as well as some that might relate to the registered keeper of the vehicle. Unless the law allows us to do so, we will not use the personal data you are providing for any other purpose.
Personal data relating to the registered keeper of the vehicle, such as the registration number, might be shared with a recovery service in order to remove the vehicle. We will not share the personal data you are providing for any other purpose unless the law allows us to do so.
We will hold your personal data for no longer than 7 years after your last correspondence with us. You can contact us to ask us to access or to rectify the personal data we have about you or to object to the processing of it.
