Postal votes if you live abroad
Postal votes if you live abroad
You must register to vote and be on the electoral register before you can apply for a postal vote from abroad.
You can either apply for a postal vote online, or download a printable form. Find out how to apply for a postal vote.
Post sent to and from addresses outside the UK will take longer to arrive. In some cases, it may take too long for the postal vote to arrive for the election. It is your responsibility to ensure that we receive the postal vote by the close of polls on election day.
It may be more convenient for you to arrange for someone to vote on your behalf (proxy vote).
