Request CON29O optional enquiries
CON29O is a set of optional questions, written by the Law Society, to find historic and current information about property and land.
We use these questions to search our public records and report our findings to applicants.
Information we may hold
CON29O optional enquiries may find information on:
- road proposals by private bodies
- completion notices
- pipelines
- houses in multiple occupation
- noise
- environmental and pollution notices
- registered common land and town or village greens
Enquiries we cannot answer
We do not provide an answer for CON29O question 8. This information is held by the National Grid and requests must be made to this organisation.

What you need to apply
To apply you will need:
- to upload plans of the search area
- details of any additional dwellings or parcels of land
- payment details to pay for the search

We will email the results to you, usually within 10 working days
