£1.2 million refurbishment coming to Woking Leisure Centre

A major £1.2 million refurbishment is on its way.
The project will deliver an upgraded gym, refurbished group cycling studio and refurbished group exercise studios, providing an enhanced fitness experience for the whole of the community.
Improvements include:
- Better gym: featuring the very latest high-performance fitness equipment and a new look and feel throughout.
- Brand new group cycling studio: featuring new bikes, modernised space with upgraded lighting and music and a wide variety of virtual and instructor-led classes.
- Refurbished group exercise studios: providing an enhanced class experience.
The spin studio will close from Monday 23 February, whilst the group exercise studios will close from Monday 2 March, with both expected to reopen in mid-March.
The gym will close from Monday 16 March, with works completed by early April, when the first stage of the refurbishment will be fully complete.
During the refurbishment works, members will be given access to nearby gym facilities, including Woking Sportsbox and Eastwood Leisure Centre, for no additional charge.
