Festive season waste and recycling collections
Temporary change to your waste and recycling collections over the festive period.
Between Thursday 25 December 2025 and Saturday 10 January 2026, the day your waste and recycling is collected will temporarily change to allow crews time off during the festive period.
Please check the table below to find out which day to present your bins. Please place them at the edge of your property by 6am on your new collection day.

Collections will return to normal from Monday 12 January 2026 and bins should be presented on your usual collection day.
Garden waste subscribers can recycle Christmas trees in their kerbside collection. Please remove all decorations and lights, chop branches into smaller pieces and place in your garden waste bin. Trees can also be taken to your local community recycling centre.
