Gambling Act 2005: Statement of Principles

Our policy on the gambling objectives and how we apply the law locally.

This document sets out our approach to regulating gambling activities under the Gambling Act 2005. ​

It explains how we will make sure gambling is conducted responsibly, fairly, and in a way that protects the community. ​

The policy takes effect on 21 March 2026 and will be reviewed every 3 years.
