Under the new planning system, we are required to publish a notice of intention to commence Local Plan preparation. This provides communities and other stakeholders with advance notice of plan‑making so they understand when and how they can get involved in preparing the new local plan for Woking.
The Minerals and Waste Local Plan for Surrey will not be incorporated into this local plan as it is being prepared separately. For more information see Minerals and Waste Local Plan - Surrey County Council
