Extreme heat and health alerts
Both the Met Office and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have extended the red alerts for Surrey and the south east until 11pm on Friday 26 June.

Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy has arisen in the office of borough councillor for the Hoe Valley ward, following the resignation of Councillor Tom Bonsundy-O’Bryan.
An election will be held if 2 electors from within the Borough request, in writing or by email, that the Proper Officer commence the procedure to hold an election to fill the vacancy.
A request to fill the vacancy must be made in writing.
