Extreme heat and health alerts
Both the Met Office and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have extended the red alerts for Surrey and the south east until 11pm on Friday 26 June.

Being diagnosed with dementia, or looking after someone with dementia, can be very challenging. There are a number of local support services available to assist you.

This collection is designed for anyone in Surrey who is supporting someone with dementia or memory impairment, whether at home or in a care or group setting.
The collection is kept at Woking Library. It consists of a wide range of materials for use in reminiscence therapy. These are used to help evoke memories and stimulate discussion and conversation. They include:

Art in Mind is a programme of monthly art workshops at The Lightbox. It is aimed at people living with dementia and their carers or supporters.
Art in Mind is supported by The Arts Society. It has been running since 2013, engaging with adults in the early stages of dementia and their carers.
