Extreme heat and health alerts
Both the Met Office and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have extended the red alerts for Surrey and the south east until 11pm on Friday 26 June.
Armed forces support
The Woking Armed Forces Covenant is a formal statement of mutual support between civilians and the armed forces community.
Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust provides support for local projects which strengthen relations and understanding between the armed forces community and the wider community.
The Trust has an annual funding pot of £10 million. Bids are only accepted from areas that have signed up to the community covenant.
All applications must:
- must meet the aims and objectives of the Woking Community Covenant
- be value for money
- be consistent with the aims and objectives of the Woking Armed Forces Covenant
