The Local Development Plan is made up of a number of other documents.

Neighbourhood development plans

The Localism Act 2011 introduced neighbourhood planning, giving communities the right to shape development in their areas. One of these ways is through neighbourhood development plans.

We have 3 adopted neighbourhood development plans:

• Hook Heath neighbourhood development plan – Woking 2027
• Pyrford neighbourhood development plan – Woking 2027
• West Byfleet neighbourhood development plan – Woking 2027

There are also neighbourhood plans in progress for:

• Byfleet village
• Brookwood and Bridley
• Hoe Valley
