Extreme heat and health alerts
Both the Met Office and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have extended the red alerts for Surrey and the south east until 11pm on Friday 26 June.
Designated locally as a Site of Nature Conservation Importance (SNCI), with a mix of woodland habitats, ponds and open amenity areas including notable populations of Great Crested Newt, a nationally protected species.
The site is managed in partnership with Surrey Wildlife Trust, who run regular volunteer sessions on site.
