Motorcycles must be parked in a sensible way to allow other motorcyclists space to park in the designated bays.

If you park in other parking bays

Motorcycles cannot park in all other parking bays, including:

  • vehicle bays
  • permit holder bays
  • disabled bays
  • police bays
  • EV charging bays
  • loading bays

Motorcycles also cannot park in areas which are marked for access and safety reasons, such as cross hatched lines.

You will be issued with a parking fine, known as a penalty charge notice (PCN), if you do not park in the correct bay.
