Extreme heat and health alerts
Both the Met Office and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have extended the red alerts for Surrey and the south east until 11pm on Friday 26 June.

If you are at risk of becoming homeless, you should contact us straight away.
We can help by:
The personal housing plan will include attending appointments with Jobcentre Plus and details of other organisations to contact.
As a starting point, we will try to keep you in your current accommodation. We will do this by either:
If we are unable to do any of the above, we will look at your case to decide if we can help you.
If we cannot help you stay in your current home, we will look at whether we can offer you housing.
If we are able to help, we will offer you accommodation with enough beds for your family.
If we cannot offer you any help, you have 21 days from receiving our decision to ask an independent officer to review the decision again.
We may not legally have to provide you with housing. We must first work out if you:
