What happens if you do not pay

If you do not pay your regular Council Tax instalments on time, we will:

  • send you a reminder letter to request payment within 7 days
  • send you further letters with instructions on what to do and our next steps

If you still do not pay, we will start a legal recovery process and enforcement action.
