Both the Met Office and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have extended the red alerts for Surrey and the south east until 11pm on Friday 26 June.

How to apply for a refund if your Council Tax account is in credit.
If you have received a statement showing that your Council Tax account is in credit, you can ask for a refund of the overpaid amount.
Refunds are paid directly into your bank or building society account.
What we need to know
To apply for a refund, you'll need to tell us:
- your Council Tax account number
- your bank or building society account details
- the amount you are requesting to be refunded
