Extreme heat and health alerts
Both the Met Office and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) have extended the red alerts for Surrey and the south east until 11pm on Friday 26 June.

Some industrial processes have the potential to cause pollution. They must have a permit to operate.
The control of industrial emissions is done through the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 – legislation.gov.uk.

We also charge a £35 fee for a copy of authorisation of industrial processes.
Once a permit is issued, we will carry out inspections on a regular basis to make sure you maintain conditions. You will also need to pay an annual subsistence fee.
