Planned maintenance in your council home
We plan large-scale improvements and maintenance works for council homes.
Most large-scale works on council homes are completed on a planned basis. These typically include replacements for:
- kitchens
- bathrooms
- boilers
- roofs
- doors and windows
- lifts
We routinely commission stock condition surveys, to determine when items or components (such as those listed above) are due to come the end of their expected lifespan.
When your property is due for larger scale planned works, we will normally undertake a further validation or condition survey. If the works are deemed to be required, you will be notified in advance by our planned maintenance team.
Where there is an opportunity for design choices, our team or contractors will arrange an appointment with you so that you can choose colours or styles.
We will clearly communicate when the works will start and finish. We will also confirm what level of access you will need to provide.
All works will thoroughly inspected and signed off by us or our consultants upon completion.
