What happens after you've made a work request

View how we prioritise requests and how long we may take.

It can take around 5 working days before we contact you after you've raised a work request.

To make sure your work request is completed when you need it, and as a rule of thumb, it’s best to give us:

  • 2 weeks' notice for a quick change on a standard piece of content (a quick answer or a guide)
  • 1 month’s notice where the change is more complicated, or involves multiple sections, or other requests that require design or functionality changes

How we prioritise requests

All work requests are prioritised against the council’s priorities and our Woking.gov.uk roadmap. We do take into consideration:

  • any deadlines
  • the impact on the user
  • whether the change is editorial or factual
  • any evidence you provide that supports the requested change

How to view your work request
