Your housing officer provides housing management services to council tenants and leaseholders.

They can:

  • visit you when you move into your home
  • carry out regular home visits
  • deal with requests to change a tenancy
  • help make sure tenancy and lease conditions are followed
  • make safeguarding referrals where needed
  • investigate suspected tenancy fraud
  • direct you to other services and support
  • deal with requests to make changes to your home
  • carry out pre-termination, mutual exchange and property inspections
  • help resolve complaints, neighbour disputes and antisocial behaviour
