Right to Buy: buying your council home
Right to Buy allows eligible council tenants to buy their home.
Your home will be valued at its current market value. If you qualify for Right to Buy, you may be able to buy your home at a discount.

Apply for Right to Buy
You must complete a Right to Buy application form and send it to:
Resident Services
Civic Offices
Gloucester Square
Woking
GU21 6YL
What happens next
When we receive your application, we will send you an acknowledgement letter.
The letter will explain what documents you and anyone included in the application must provide.
We will then assess your application and tell you whether you are eligible for Right to Buy.
If your application is successful, the Property Services Team will carry out the next stage of the process. This includes tenancy and fraud checks.
Once these checks have been completed, we will arrange for your home to be valued.
