Overview

As a council tenant or leaseholder, you can help us improve our housing service.

You can get involved regularly or take part when it suits you. We offer a range of opportunities throughout the year.

These opportunities are grouped into three types of engagement:

  • be informed – stay up to date with housing services and decisions
  • be heard – share your views through focus groups, neighbourhood walkabouts and community action days
  • be empowered – take part in panels and groups that influence decisions

Get involved

If you would like to become a housing volunteer or find out more about getting involved, contact the Housing Resident Engagement Team.

Email: residentengagement@woking.gov.uk
Telephone: 0300 373 0373
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (except public holidays)

The team can tell you more about each group. You can also request to observe a meeting before deciding if you'd like to take part.

How your feedback is used

What you tell us helps shape housing services.

We use your feedback to:

  • improve services and communication
  • review policies and processes
  • set priorities for improvement

You can find out how tenant feedback leads to change in our You said, we did page.

How engagement supports accountability

Resident engagement helps shape housing services and supports residents to hold us to account.

We share performance information so you can see how services are doing and where improvements are needed.
