Take part in a housing operational focus workshops

Housing operational focus workshops focus on specific housing topics.

Previous workshops have included:

  • housing complaints
  • tenancy sign-up packs
  • housing performance
  • social housing engagement standards

You can choose which workshops you attend.

Some residents may be invited to workshops based on their experience of a service. For example, residents who have recently made a complaint may be invited to a workshop about complaints.

How to take part

You can apply to take part in a workshop if you are a:

  • council tenant
  • leaseholder
  • licence holder
  • shared owner

You must live in a Woking Borough Council home.

Why join

Join a workshop to:

  • share your experiences
  • suggest improvements to services
  • discuss housing issues with other residents
  • help shape future services

This group is suitable if you want to get involved in topics that matter to you and build confidence sharing your views.

Time commitment

Workshops are usually held once a month, but you do not need to attend every session.

Most workshops last around 5 hours and lunch is provided.

Meeting times are agreed in advance.

Your feedback helps us review services and identify improvements.

We use what you tell us to:

  • improve processes and communication
  • inform service changes
  • shape future priorities

Get support to take part

We want all residents to be able to take part.

If you need support, we can:

  • provide information in alternative formats, such as large print or easy read
  • make reasonable adjustments to help you take part
  • support you if you need help accessing the venue
  • communicate with your representative or advocate
