We're working in partnership with Surrey County Council and other local councils to offer a range of decarbonisation support and funding for small and medium businesses.
Who can apply
To be eligible, your organisation must have:
- a trading address in 1 of the participating Surrey boroughs
- been trading for at least 2 years in the UK
- a turnover of less than £44 million
- less than 250 employees
- received less than £315,000 in subsidies over the last 3 years
Surrey borough councils taking part in the scheme are:
- Elmbridge
- Guildford
- Reigate and Banstead
- Spelthorne
- Surrey Heath
- Waverley
- Woking
What you'll get
If eligible, you can get:
- a free decarbonisation assessment to identify potential energy savings
- a decarbonisation loan to invest in a solar panel installation or other decarbonisation project
- access to a free decarbonisation course to plan your organisation's sustainability journey
- access to an online calculator to calculate your organisation's carbon footprint
Before applying for a business decarbonisation loan, you must undertake a business decarbonisation assessment. This will determine eligible projects. A link will then be sent to you to apply directly to the loan provider.
