Building and construction licences
Contact Surrey County Council to apply for:
- building materials on the road and footpath licence – Surrey County Council
- cranes or other equipment or machinery on the road licence – Surrey County Council
- scaffolding or hoarding licence – Surrey County Council
- skip licence – Surrey County Council
- temporary traffic signals licence – Surrey County Council

Advertising, filming and event licences
For a licence to:
- advertise on the roadside, go to banners on the roadside – Surrey County Council
- run an event on a road, go to public events on the road – Surrey County Council
- film on the street, go to filming on the public highway – Surrey Film Office
