Listed below are a range of common parking issues and problems, and what you can do.

Please remember your vehicle registration plate to ensure that you are able to pay for your parking when at the machine.
The ANPR camera has not read my number plate properly
If you have any issues whilst using the payment machine, please use the help point on any of the pay stations to speak to a member of staff who will be able to provide advice and assistance.

Ticket machine out of order
If you cannot find an alternative machine in the car park, please phone our hotline on 07836 254 654.
Ticket machine failed to print ticket
Please purchase a second ticket and fill in our online refund form when you get home. Remember to keep hold of your second ticket.

Motorcycle parking
Motorcycles, scooters and mopeds can park free of charge in the following town centre car parks:
- Victoria Way: ground floor in the area between the entry and exit barriers
- Victoria Place (Yellow): designated area by the entry barriers
- Brewery Road: designated area inside the car park by the entry barriers.
If you park your motorcycle elsewhere in a car park, for example in a restricted area, you will be issued with a penalty charge notice.
Parking in a suspended bay
You must not park in a suspended bay. It will be clearly marked.
