Construction site noise control

You can report construction site noise taking place outside permitted hours.

We can impose conditions on construction site work to limit the noise impact on those who live nearby. A voluntary agreement is usually reached with the site operator on when a construction site can operate.

These times are normally:

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
  • Saturday, 8am to 1pm
  • Sunday and bank holidays (not including the use of noisy equipment)
