Use of your personal data

If you contact the community safety team about a suspected case of anti-social behaviour, we will collect your personal data. Our reason for doing so is our statutory function to tackle anti-social behaviour in the borough.

We will use your personal data, as well as that of people you refer to, for the purpose of responding to the case of suspected anti-social behaviour you report. We will not use it for any other purposes unless the law allows us to do so.

In order to carry this out, the personal data that is part of your report including your own might be received from and shared with a number of trusted partners:

  • Women’s Support Centre
  • York Road Project
  • Woking Community Mental Health Recovery Service
  • Catalyst (drug and alcohol service)
  • iAccess (drug and alcohol service)
  • Surrey CC Family Services
  • SCC Adult Services
  • SCC Children's Services
  • National Probation Service
  • Sussex, Surrey and Kent CRC
  • Surrey Fire and Rescue Service
  • Accent Group Housing
  • Thames Valley Housing
  • Woking Borough Councillors

We will not share the personal data that is part of your report with any other organisations unless the law allows us to do so.

In order to fulfil our safeguarding obligations, we will keep the personal data that is part of your report for up to 35 years after you last contact us. You can contact us to ask us to access or to rectify the personal data we have about you or to object to the processing of it.
